The Festival of classical mythology and culture is designed primarily to bridge that distance, created over time, among insiders, with their wealth of intellectual experiences, and the common people, who are increasingly asked to know the origins of his worldview. No coincidence that the myth is put to the roots of our civilization and its continuity, imperceptibly alive and even today, is demonstrated by the wealth of stimuli and found references in modern culture. The mythology becomes a tool to bring the audience to the ancient world, archeology, and encouragement for knowledge of the past in key emotional.
Through this event, the story comes from books and academic halls, becomes an occasion for meeting and discussion, takes possession of the dynamics of communication and approaches to all. During the festival archeology is dropped in the streets and meeting places, making it accessible and vivid memory of what has been lived before us. Memory the place, not reduced to mere knowledge of the ancient, assume, as a lyrical connotations and is intended to trigger a process of awareness of the historical life, becoming inevitably sap of regenerating our identity.
